Our Opportunities

• Tutor: As a tutor for Bloxademy, you'll have the freedom to set your own working hours and connect your availability via Google Calendar - we'll fill your availability with lessons; and you'll be paid a set ratio for each you teach.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Setting and updating your availability.

• Attending lessons in a punctual manor.

• In lesson, offer effective and engaging teaching.

• Complete lesson summary forms for the next tutor (hopefully yourself!), and if required, post assignments.

• Optionally, provide out of hours support to queries students may have.

• Management: Bloxademy utilizes a variety of tools and databases to make everything work, your core responsibilities would be to:

  • Monitor and engage with our support channels.

  • Handle any scheduling issues that may occur.

  • Processing payments / invoices, both from students and to tutors.

  • Use various tools and systems to ensure Bloxademy runs smoothly.

All of our positions come with a background check, this can include looking through your online digital presence to ensure:

• There are no areas of concern.

• You have a significant presence / history, indicating your trustworthy past.

• Your profiles / accounts are not recently created.

We offer training for all positions, but follow this basic principle:

Ensure the student learns, in an engaging and enjoyable manor, all the content on our curriculum, in reasonable order.

If you're struggling to follow this principle, you can ask for support - and if we detect issues in your performance this support may become mandatory; however you may otherwise teach in whatever way works best for you - as teaching methods are not a precise endeavor.

We have resources available for every part of the curriculum, and they are available to you so that you may use them however you see fit.
